About our 8-week DBT treatment program.

Our innovative DBT program features skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness, which will equip you with the skills to navigate your mental health challenges and prevent relapse.

  • 50-minute 1:1 Orientation Session: Your DBT-trained therapist will welcome you with a 50-minute individual orientation session to introduce you to the program and discuss your goals. You can get refunded for the remainder of the program if you choose not to continue

  • 8-weeks of 60-minute group learning sessions: Each week, you will participate in a 1-hour telehealth session with your small group and therapist, where you will learn each module together and receive live support.

  • Between session practice and progress tracking: Upon enrollment, you will gain access to our Tori Health mobile app, where you can practice your skills, receive feedback from your therapist, and track your progress.

  • 30-minute 1:1 Graduation Session: After completing the program, you will have a one-on-one session with your therapist to discuss your results and receive a Tori Health DBT Training Graduation Certificate.

  • Get to know your therapist, overview the group program, define your goals, and receive a personalized assessment.

  • Learn the foundational skills to develop a nonjudgmental awareness of the present and how to practice mindfulness with skillful effectiveness.

  • Understand the functions of emotions, and how to describe them.

Dr. Chelsey R. Wilks.

  • Dr. Chelsey Wilks is a Clinical Psychologist and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) trainer.

  • Dr. Wilks received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington, where she was mentored by Marsha Linehan (the creator of DBT).

  • Dr. Wilks has served as a post-doctoral scholar and affiliate researcher at Harvard University.

  • She trained in human-computer interaction at Microsoft Research and has conducted extensive research into the application of DBT.
